About
Who writes this, and who is accountable for it
Health writing on the internet is mostly anonymous, and you have no way to tell whether anyone with training read it before it went up. So here is exactly who is behind Online OCD Therapy.
Who reviews the guides
Albert Wong, PhD, clinical psychologist. He reviews the guides on this site for clinical accuracy and is responsible for what they say. Last reviewed September 2026. If something here is wrong, it is his to answer for, not an anonymous content team’s.
Online OCD Therapy is operated by Somatopia, LLC, which also builds Practice Harbor, the practice-management software some of the listed practices run on. That relationship is disclosed on every page rather than buried here.
How the guides get written
They are written to answer the question someone actually typed, in plain language, without the hedging that makes health writing useless. Where the research is good, we say so. Where it is thin, oversold, or resting on trials that excluded the people most likely to be reading, we say that too — including when the finding is inconvenient for this site’s own subject.
No guide here is sponsored. Nobody pays to be mentioned in one, and no practitioner has been given editorial input in exchange for anything.
How the listings work
- Listing is free. There are no fees, no premium tiers, and no paid placement.
- Nobody pays to rank. Ordering never reflects money.
- Credentials are shown plainly, and anyone who is not a licensed clinician is badged as such.
- This directory is new and short. We would rather show you a handful of real people than pad it.
What this site isn’t
It is not treatment, and reading it is not a clinical relationship with anyone. It is not a referral service — we do not vet practitioners beyond checking that credentials are what they say they are, and a listing is not an endorsement. If you are in danger right now, call or text 988, or 911 in an emergency.
Telling us we got it wrong
Corrections are welcome and acted on. If a guide is inaccurate, out of date, or reads as though it has never met a real person, say so through the contact form and it will be looked at.
